This set includes a large map and recreational guide booklet in plastic sleeves that open like a book. The map legend is written in English, German and Italian. The separate booklet is written in German and Italian - no English.

The detailed outdoor recreation map is for mountain and recreation areas of the Dolomites. The 32x44-inch map has topographic contours at 100-meter intervals in the mountainous areas (50 meters elsewhere) and relief shading. An overprint highlights hiking paths, cycling routes, ski routes. The map also highlights youth hostels, campsites, mountain huts, natural and cultural features, chair lifts, and more. The map also gives GPS waypoints. The 47-page booklet contains information on places of interest, brief descriptions of selected hiking trails, addresses of various accommodation facilities, etc.

The Val Gardena / Grödner Tal is a beautiful alpine valley in South Tyrol, Italy. The Marmolada is a mountain in northeastern Italy (just east of Trento) and the highest mountain the Dolomites (a section of the Alps). The Sella is a plateau shaped massif in the Dolomites mountains of northern Italy. The Sella lies north of the Marmolada.
